A word from Ann Allcock, head of diversity
David Marshall
David is the founder of Marshall E-Learning [Marshalls, part of Ciphr Group] and is now a managing director at Ciphr.
David founded Marshall E-Learning in 2002, since then he has gone on to develop a global eLearning business specialising in diversity and inclusion. His first business, Marshall ACM, grew from being a niche online diversity training consultancy to now serving as the UK’s leading provider of eLearning.
In 2023, Marshall E-Learning was acquired by Ciphr, and David is now the managing director of the eLearning division. David is the primary point of contact for our clients and runs all of our partnerships and enjoys a hands-on approach to eLearning projects.
Ann Allcock
Ann is our head of diversity, focusing on the company’s broader diversity training and consultancy offer.
Her aim is to support all clients to become diversity-leading organisations and to accelerate and embed culture change via blended learning.
Ann is our in-house diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) specialist and works to advise on eLearning content, providing a diversity and inclusion-focused outlook across all projects and content and offers invaluable facilitated training to organisations across all sectors.
Ann’s facilitated training is available in conjunction with eLearning or as a standalone offering.
Tamar Elderton-Welch
Tamar is our head of eLearning and is an award-winning instructional designer.
Tamar has a long history in eLearning, working for some of the biggest brands from Coca Cola, MBDA, Michelin, BP and Sainsbury’s, to name a few.
Tamar’s background is in academic research and magazine journalism, having been a PhD scholar in Ancient History and assistant editor for John Lewis Chronicle.
Tamar specialises in researching new content and translating complex topics into easily digestible, informative and engaging eLearning courses.
Gregor Brown
Gregor Brown is our head of account management. He joined us in 2021 having previously worked at Vodafone for 18 years in various sales and account management roles.
Engaging with customers, understanding their businesses and drivers and building trust underpins his way of working, along with professional values of integrity and transparency.
He takes commitments to customers very seriously and being open, professional and knowledgeable are keys to his success. Gregor leads our account management and also supports sales, marketing and project management functions within the team.
James Sellers
James is our general manager based in Leeds. James runs our learning management systems (LMS) which complement our eLearning offering.
James has implemented a wide variety of commercial and open source LMS for a wide variety of public and private sector organisations.
He has a BA in Economics and Business Management.
Arjun Gill
Arjun Gill serves as the digital projects lead, playing a pivotal role in both the technical and strategic aspects of course production.
With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of digital tools and cutting-edge technologies, Arjun oversees the day-to-day technical operations involved in creating engaging and effective eLearning courses.
Beyond his technical expertise, he also significantly contributes to shaping project management methodologies and implementation strategies. Arjun is instrumental in large-scale LMS implementation projects, ensuring seamless integration, robust functionality, and scalability.
Hara Giannelaki
Hara is one of our senior developers and creates our eLearning courses using authorware tools.
Hara has worked on a wide variety of bespoke courses over the years, multiple customisations for various clients and continually contributing to the development of our eLearning library.
Hara also provides LMS support and other course-related queries.
Vishnu Pillai
Vishnu is one of our senior developers and leads the development of eLearning courses working alongside our instructional designers to produce engaging and interactive courses using various authorware tools.
Vishnu also manages the LMS and provides technical support to clients. Vishnu has been working within Marshalls, now Ciphr eLearning, for over nine years, working on a variety of challenging bespoke solutions for various organisations across corporate, education and health sectors.
Meg Shona Halpin-Webster
Meg is our associate instructional designer and joined Ciphr as a graduate eLearning content writer in 2023.
Meg’s day-to-day role involves researching content for innovative and engaging eLearning courses.
Meg has experience customising eLearning content and working on bespoke projects with a number of clients across various fields, including some of the leading UK universities.

Mark Crabtree
Mark Crabtree is a qualified coach, mediator and facilitator with over 25 years’ experience leading the development, management, implementation and delivery of engaging learning and organisational initiatives.
We have collaborated with Mark on many modules, including mental health – supporting others and mental health at work and looking after yourself.
Teresa Norman
Teresa Norman is a diversity and inclusion consultant with over 30 years of experience. Teresa is also the CEO of TogetherintheUK, a social enterprise whose mission is to tell stories of refugees and migrants.
Teresa is also an experienced trainer, facilitator and career coach. We have collaborated with Teresa on a number of projects and whitepapers on diversity and inclusion topics.
Victoria Sena
Victoria Sena is an innovative regulatory expert with over 15 years experience in financial services across both public and private sectors.
Founder of Cherrybank Consulting, Victoria is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments. Previously working at the Bank of England, Victoria has used her knowledge and expertise to create our range of FCA Compliance eLearning.
