Corporate sector
The majority of our work in corporate eLearning has increased to include the area of diversity and inclusion, alongside unconscious bias.
Our customisation service is particularly popular with our corporate clients because a tailored course can be built quickly, and include their art-work and content, without investing in a bespoke course.
Financial services sector
Marshalls began as an eLearning consultancy to Markel International and have gone on to work extensively with Lloyds of London.
We have produced market-focused courses for Lloyds on anti-money laundering and other compliance courses. And we have the distinction of designing the online diversity training for all staff at Societe Generale, Citigroup and Commerzbank.
Further education sector
Our eLearning in the further education sector began in 2007 when a partnership with leading children’s charity Barnardo’s brought about our child protection eLearning course. Used by over 30 further education colleges, our child protection eLearning was particularly popular because we shared profits with Barnardo’s.
College eLearning projects have included:
- Developing an online diversity training course for staff and students at Glasgow City College
- Upgrading a full portal of courses or Leicester College offering staff a comprehensive suite of all our courses from health and safety, to compliance, to diversity and management development
- Developing a bespoke health and safety induction for Regents College
- Guildford College commissioned a suite of courses from Marshalls, including their new inclusive campus course which includes PREVENT awareness and a focus on various types of extremism
Health sector
We provide eLearning for healthcare organisations encompassing hospitals, commissioning support units, care home and homecare providers and NHS organisations.
Our work with the NHS dates back to 2003 with two complementary courses on diversity training. Both courses were bespoke and used by over 30 organisations within the NHS.
Our NHS projects have included:
- Upgrading our online equality impact assessment tool for Christie Hospital Manchester
- Updating our online diversity training tool for NHS Employers
Higher education sector
Ciphr eLearning, powered by Marshalls, provides a wide range of eLearning courses to many universities across the UK.

Our work in the legal sector has focused on the area of diversity and inclusion. Legal projects have included:
- Developing a tailored unconscious bias eLearning course for Linklaters
- Repurposing our ENEI unconscious bias course for Eversheds
Many firms use our online diversity training, and take advantage of our customisation service which allows them to include a clear message on why diversity is important for their firm.

Since we started in 2002, our core value has been to make a difference. This has guided our specialisation in the diversity, equality and inclusion agenda and the way we work with clients and communities both locally and nationally.
We’re extremely proud of the partnership work with children’s charity Barnardo’s and have provided eLearning courses for many voluntary sector organisations including Action for Blind People and MIND.
