Safeguarding is a broad term encompassing Child Protection, Adult Protection and Prevention and can be more clearly defined as agencies working with children, young people and their families and other vulnerable adults to minimise the risk of harm.

Safeguarding means to take appropriate action in order to tackle any concerns about the welfare of children or vulnerable adults.

Safeguarding training is valuable for empowering learners with the appropriate knowledge and required skills to correctly report abuse, neglect and effectively minimise risk and harm.

Our course explores:

Legal background: legislation and guidance
