Expertly crafted content, exceptional value

Islamophobia remains a prevalent issue across the UK. It’s important to acknowledge this issue and the experiences of Islam communities. Having a firm understanding of what Islamophobia is is the first step to challenge this behaviour.

Islamophobia is the fear of, dislike of, hatred of, or prejudice against the Islam religion or Muslims more generally. Islamophobia can have a hugely detrimental psychological and physical impact on those experiencing it.

This course is designed to bring attention to the problem of Islamophobia across our country and our society. Recognising the difficult experiences of Muslim communities in the UK is necessary to effectively challenge this behaviour and enact positive change.

By the end of this training course, learners will be able to:

Explain beliefs, teachings and practices of Islam

Describe the history of Muslim communities in the UK
