ELEARNING CONTENT FOR EVERYONE

Expertly crafted content, exceptional value

The Financial Conduct Authority is an independent public body that regulates over 50,000 firms in the UK that provide financial services.

The FCA has a large and growing remit which is set by Parliament and influenced by UK and onshored EU legislation. It operates independently of the government, but is accountable to Parliament through the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA) 2023, which received Royal Assent on 29 June 2023.

In this course you will learn about the Financial Conduct Authority’s strategic objective to ensure that financial services markets function well, and their three interconnecting operational objectives.

You will then explore the structure of the Financial Conduct Authority, including its authorisations, supervision and enforcement functions. Finally, you will meet some of the key personnel and understand their roles and responsibilities, including the board of directors and Executive Committee.

Learners will be assessed on their knowledge and understanding through a test at the end of the course.

Adjustments can be made to suit the needs of your company – please contact us for more information.
