ELEARNING CONTENT FOR EVERYONE

Expertly crafted content, exceptional value

The Financial Ombudsman Service settles complaints between consumers and financial services businesses where they cannot reach a resolution themselves.

Over a million people contact the service every year. Where necessary, they will use their powers to put things right for the consumer, including to require compensation payments to be paid.

In this course you will learn about the aims, values and commitments of the Financial Ombudsman Service, including its social responsibility and sustainability policy.

You will also find out about what problems they can help you with, and how they make decisions when resolving a complaint. You will then hear about what the service can do for small businesses, and for claims management.

Finally, you will meet some of the key personnel and understand their roles and responsibilities, including the ombudsmen and independent assessor.

Learners will be assessed on their knowledge and understanding through a test at the end of the course.

Adjustments can be made to suit the needs of your company – please contact us for more information.

Avatar of user

"With products such as GDPR or Health and Safety the material must cover all key areas and topics, and it is vital that the language used, case studies discussed, and examples fit the university context. [Marshalls] understand all of this, which makes their programmes so attractive."
