This course will introduce you to key features of UK culture. You may find that some things are very different here, in comparison with your home country, and we hope that this information will help you to prepare for your stay in the UK, and to get the best out of both your university course and your overall experience.

- Describe the ethnic, cultural and religious diversity of the UK
- Reflect on the UK Equality law and national attitudes as they apply to Age, Sexuality, Gender, and Disability

- Describe what is meant by ‘Culture shock’ and describe the different cultural customs common in the UK
