The Budget 2024: what HR and payroll need to know

Wednesday 6 November at 11am

The chancellor, Rachel Reeves, will set out the new Labour government’s fiscal plans and priorities in the 2024 Budget on 30 October.

No one ever knows what’s in the chancellor’s famed ‘red box’ until a few hours before the Budget statement itself. But, if we look at Labour’s manifesto – and post-election announcements – for clues, we can reasonably expect:

  • Changes to the national minimum wage
  • Changes to statutory sick pay (SSP)
  • Tax changes
  • Pension changes
  • And, potentially, much more

We’re here to help you make sense of the 2024 Budget and understand how new legislation and regulations will impact your HR and payroll operations. Don’t miss out. Sign up now to join us live at 11am on Wednesday 6 November.

Our presenters:

  • Claire Williams, chief operating officer
  • Julie Lally, MD, payroll
  • Gwenan West, head of people operations
  • Claire Warner, regulatory analyst
