When was the last time you put dedicated time aside for on- or off-the-job training? HR and L&D professionals can often be guilty of being the so-called ‘cobblers’ children’ – of focusing so much care and attention on the development needs of others, that we fail to invest enough energy in our own training and upskilling.

Specially designed learning journeys will help new clients through the HR software implementation journey, enabling them to build the skills they need at an appropriate pace. Content will also be available in a range of formats, helping learners to gain knowledge whatever their learning preferences may be. Why is Ciphr changing its customer training offering?
We know that the ways in which people want to learn have changed: whole-day workshops are no longer regarded as being as effective as on-demand, in-the-moment bitesize content that learners can access when they need it. That’s why we’ve evolved the Ciphr Academy offering away from in-depth workshops, to focus on modular content – both live and on-demand – that helps HR users get to grips with the functionality they use most.
We’ve also created structured learning journeys – more on those later – which will better support new customers through the implementation phase, which we recognise as being critical to the long-term success of any new software launch.
Four ways Ciphr Academy supports Ciphr HR software users

2. Structured learning journeys will help new customers get started with Ciphr more quickly
Rather than having to dedicate whole days to training workshops, new customers will be supported with structured learning journeys to guide them through the HR software implementation process. These journeys are divided into three levels: system foundations, building your system, and system familiarisation. These activities will help you prepare for crucial stages of your Ciphr HR system implementation, prepare to roll out the software across your organisation, and, ultimately, deliver on your goals for your new HR software.
3. New live bitesize classes will keep your skills up to scratch
For learners who value the opportunity to interact with one of Ciphr’s experienced product training specialists, a new suite of new bitesize classes will be available to book within the Ciphr Academy.
Bitesize classes provide learners with virtual access to a product training specialist, who will provide a detailed demonstration of specific functions on the HR product followed by a Q&A session. Each bitesize class lasts between 90 and 120 minutes, making it easier to make room in your busy schedule for HR systems learning.
4. Get rewarded with points and badges
Gamification is a great technique for engaging learners – and that includes HR systems learners, too. You’ll compete with colleagues to collect reward points and badges for your Ciphr learning, and you’ll be able to keep an eye on your peers’ progress with our leaderboards.
